Day to day
How a matter works
1. The matter gets its own collection. Documents for one client matter are loaded into a collection named for that matter. Scanned and image-only PDFs are put through OCR first, so a photographed bundle is as searchable as a typed one.
2. Staff open a browser. The appliance answers on a simple office web address. There is nothing to install on anyone’s computer, and no account with any outside service.
3. They pick an assistant and a matter. The assistant answers from the documents in that collection. Ask it something the matter does not cover and it says so, rather than filling the gap.
4. A person checks the work. Every output is a draft for a qualified member of the firm to review. The Source Reviewer exists precisely so that check is quick.

Turns a new client’s documents into a table of parties, dates, obligations and risks. Where a field is not visible in the documents, it is marked as not visible rather than guessed.
Chronology Builder
Timelines and deadlines
Builds event timelines and procedural histories from correspondence and pleadings. Dates come from the record; it will not manufacture one to complete a sequence.
Contract & Clause Reviewer
Clause-level review
Reads a lease, a sale agreement or a supply contract clause by clause and raises conservative attorney-review questions instead of pronouncing on them.
Drafting Assistant
Gap-first first drafts
Produces a first draft of a letter or memo from the matter’s facts, and tells you what is missing before you notice it in a client meeting.

The check before it goes out
Give it a draft and a matter. It reports whether the source documents actually support the conclusions, and flags the sentences that outrun the record.
A general-purpose strategy chat for the firm’s own planning sits alongside them, plus a saved prompt library behind each assistant.

Honest limits
It is a good assistant and a poor lawyer.
It does not give legal advice. A qualified member of the firm reviews every output before anyone relies on it.
It answers from the documents attached to the chat. If something is not in the matter, the assistant says so rather than guessing.
It is sized for a small firm — up to about five people, one or two using it at a time. It is not built for concurrent firm-wide deployment, and we will tell you if your firm is too big for it rather than sell you one anyway.
It is one machine. If the hardware fails, recovery comes from its own daily backup and is handled under support on a best-effort basis. We do not promise a replacement appliance or a guaranteed restore time, because we cannot yet honour that promise.
Installation
What setup covers
Appliance preparation and configuration, on-site installation and the office web address, user accounts, up to three initial matter collections, backup verification with a signed acceptance record, a 30-minute team training session, and a week-one follow-up.
Bulk document backfill, additional collections and extra training are quoted separately at R750 an hour.
14-day guarantee
If it cannot do the job, you are not stuck with it
If the agreed pilot workflows cannot be demonstrated on the approved test documents within 14 days of installation, you may cancel and the first monthly fee is refunded. A purchased appliance is refunded on its return. Setup covers work already delivered and is not refundable.
